Lea Rutledge Textiles are a return to the beauty and heart of home through hand-illustrated goods. Lea’s work brings an original take to classic country style and has been described by designers as “fresh, spontaneous, and nostalgic”.  

With a degree in energy policy from MIT, Lea Rutledge’s everyday life certainly did not involve painting just a few years ago. After finding success as a consultant and lecturer, Lea decided to shift her love of environmental preservation toward a new form of conservation — a hand painted line of textiles inspired by the natural world around her and the simple richness of home.

Her work brings a fresh take on traditional design. It is an intersection of eclectic country style and the classic influences of her historic home in New England, where her family has lived for five generations.

Lea carries a deep belief that home is one of the most important places we can cultivate in life and aims to create work that brings deep joy to each house in which it lives.
